Just In!! This Manchester City Star Has Left The Club To Join Turkish Club Antalyaspor (Pictured)
Samir Nasri has joined Turkish side Antalyaspor on a permanent deal from Manchester City, ending his six-year spell at the Etihad.
The 30-year-old midfielder won two Premier League titles and two League Cups after joining City from Arsenal in 2011.
However, the France international struggled for first-team opportunities in recent years and was loaned out to Sevilla last season following Pep Guardiola’s arrival at the Etihad.
Nasri returned to City this summer after scoring three goals in 30 appearances in Spain and was a shock inclusion in City’s squad for the pre-season tour of the United States.
He will now join up with Turkish side Antalyaspor, who are captained by former Barcelona forward Samuel Eto’o.
“Everybody at the Club wishes Samir good luck in the next chapter of his career and would like to thank him for some fantastic memories,” read a statement on City’s website.
Nasri becomes the third Manchester City player to join a Turkish side this summer, with Gael Clichy signing for İstanbul Başakşehir and Fernando heading to Galatasaray.
