Manchester United will have to wait a little longer in their bid to get Paul Pogba as the player’s medical in Miami was cancelled by his agent. According to reports from Spain, the player’s agent Mino Raiola stopped the medical procedure because his own part of the bargain was not sorted out.
Reports also have it that the 23-year-old was set to have a full medical check up with Dr Italo Linfante of the Miami Cardic and Vascular Institute.
However, Raiola has told Linfante who is currently on holiday in Europe not to come back from vacation so that the examination will not be conducted which could end the speculated move.
The Red Devils have agreed the record transfer fee and personal terms with the French midfielder with only the medicals hangs in the balance for the deal to be completed. United have completed two major signings in the summer transfer window with the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovich and Henrikh Mkhitaryan but the 48-year-old stands between Pogba and the world record fee. Pogba who moved to Juventus for free in 2012 will going back to Old Trafford for €120million making him the most expensive player in the world.
